Our Turkish onion farms can produce onions on a year-round basis. The new crop is harvested from the middle of May.  

Before exporting, an analysis report is performed by the Ministry of Agriculture for all the production areas. Intensive testing is done to ensure that there are fungus and/or illnesses present, and that the required treatment protocols have been performed during production.

Taneks’ export program consists of onions of 40-60 mm, 60-80 mm and 80-100 mm, depending on demand.

Packaging is done in nets or poly bags – weights from 5 kg to 50 kg, depending on clients’ requirements.

The new crop potatoes becomes available at the beginning of May. Potatoes of export quality are available throughout the year.
