For centuries salads have been an important part of international cuisine. Because of the fast pace of life, consumers are left with very little time to prepare their own food at home, and modern consumers rely heavily on buying pre-packed salads which are convenient but still nutritious.

Since salad products are a crucial part of every meal, restaurants and food service companies have also introduced the use of convenience products.  

Since 2008 Taneks has been doing extensive research into this market segment, and this has resulted in the commissioning of a convenience salad line as from spring 2010.

Our salad products will be professionally processed, and will undergo extreme levels of quality control. For Taneks’ top quality salads products, every ingredient will be carefully selected, pre-cut and washed thoroughly, using organically cleansed water of 1 degree Centigrade. Subsequently our salads will be packaged in pillow packs - ready to eat! – and delivered to our retail and food service clients within 24 hours after production.  

Taneks’ convenience salads will be packed in our our brand ‘Fresh! Inside’, and may be combined with cold cuts of meat, fish, pasta or cheese, or mixed with fruits or vegetables to create great appetizers.

The composition of our salads will be based on the specific requirements and preferences of the European retailers, and will be competitively priced.
