CITRUS

 

ORANGES

For many decades Turkey has been a stable producer of oranges. Summer/winter conditions – which are of paramount importance for citrus production – provide a stable environment for producing consistent quality.

Our oranges season commences with Washington navels at the end of October, continuing through until the end of March. In April the Valencia variety is harvested, and supplied until the end of May.

Our oranges can be supplied in a number of packaging types, such as:
5 kg standard or wooden cartons
10 kg standard or wooden cartons
15 kg standard or wooden cartons

MANDARINS

The Turkish mandarin season kicks off in October with the Okitsu and Satsuma varieties. Early in November, the Clementine variety is harvested, followed by the Fremont variety which continues until the end of February. From the beginning of December we are able to supply the Nova variety mandarins, and our season finishes in late December with Minneola’s.  

Our mandarins can be supplied in a number of packaging types, such as:
5 kg standard or wooden cartons
10 kg standard or wooden cartons
15 kg standard or wooden cartons

GRAPEFRUITS

Turkey abounds with various types of grapefruit. Early October the Star Ruby variety is harvested, followed by Ruby Red in late October. At the beginning of November the White Marsh and Rio Red varieties join to grapefruit family. Until the end of April, all four kinds of grapefruits are available.

Packaging

15 kg open top cartons.

Packaging can be changed upon request.

LEMONS

Our lemon season starts with the Mayer variety in August, and continues with the Enterdonate variety in September-October-November.

In November and December we produce the Lamas variety, and this is available until the end of April.

Our lemons can be supplied in a number of packaging types, such as:

10 kg standard or wooden cartons
15 kg standard or wooden cartons
